You leave your car and catch up to the Professor. He turns to your group, startled at first, then sighing in relief. He motions you all into an alley.
Skipping all pretense, the Professor explains, "I knew there was something going on with this new 'church' that opened up! I thought I'd recognized the scripture they were using, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Now I know, beyond all doubt...This is some cult trying to summon some horrific eldritch abomination into our world!"
"Can we stop them?" You ask.
The Professor describes in detail a particular artifact. "This is how they've been performing the ritual that's brought all this about. If we destroy it, we can stop them from completing the ritual." He looks you and your friends in the eyes. "Are you all with me, my friends?"
