Night of the Abominations
Evil thinks it's won this night...but it hasn't met you yet

More concerned with your own survival, you and your friends decide to leave the Professor behind you. You drive, and keep driving until you're out of town. When you see the sky burst open to an impossible sea of stars and nebulae...when you see a massive and incomprehensible horror of a thousand eyes and a hundred tentacles descend from that rip in time and space...you can only look away and focus on the road ahead of you, lest you lose your very sanity. Your friends have different reactions to this new development; some of them cry, others remain silent, others still hold their heads low with guilt or despair.

As the years pass, you and your friends simply survive as the world descends into Hell. Your group moves from place to place, losing some people and gaining others as the years go by. Finally, you hatch a plan to leave the mainland and find some island to survive on. Getting a ship large enough and gathering enough supplies is a monumental task, but you succeed and leave the shores. After days of travel, you find a small island where neither man nor monster dwells. There, your group makes a life for itself, becoming something of a colony; a tribe.

As you approach old age, you wonder about the future of your tribe. You know it's only a matter of time before some mad raider band or demonic beast comes ashore to remind you of the chaotic and hideously evil place the world has become.

Ever since that fateful day, that same massive chaotic monster hangs in the sky. You could swear that one of it's many eyes now looks directly at you.
