You race down the dock as quickly as possible, yelling for him down at the water. Just as you are about to jump in after him a tentacle comes out and wraps around you like unforgiving stone. It pulls you up, lifting you high in the air. The creatures head surfaces, maw first. Its mouth is wide open, with too many to count sets of razor sharp teeth, spiraling down her throat. Huge black eyes stare up at you hungerly.
Another tentacle emerges, this one holding the old man. His eyes are closed as he laughs. Then he spots you and his expression shifts to horror. "Bessie put them down!" She roars and shakes you, flipping you upside down, dangling above her mouth.
The man is frantically trying to calm her, he looks at you with tears in his eyes. "I'm so sorry kid, she was just playing with me but must have gotten scared when you were yelling. Hold on I can fix this!"
You start slipping from the tentacles grasp, she's calming down and releasing her hold on you. She lets go, the last thing you see is the man petting the tentacle holding him with Bessie's full attention on him, before you are swallowed by the maws darkness.
