Associated since early in its development with angry white men hostile to anything that challenges the primacy of white men, UKIP has sought to maintain its relevance since the referendum by plunging further and further into hateful territory. At this election they've selected Carl Benjamin, a YouTube personality who likes to throw around racial slurs and rape jokes. With the BNP gone, UKIP look, now more than ever, like the UK's standout party of racism.
