You decide on Jandoln's theory: to rally the troops into courage would surely be a good idea, and much less risk involved as well.
You stand up from your seat and declare to your soldiers, "The time has come for courage and practiced strategy. This battle may just decide the war for all of Enteria, so I implore you to do your duty and stay vigilant. Together this army can be conquered..."
As you ramble on with your speech, only a few soldiers look motivated. Actually, the rest were looking, for the most part, horrified.
Slowly, you turn around.
"It seems, Chance, that you have overplayed yourself." says the wizard Jandoln. He smiles cruelly and then disappears. You have no time to ponder his treachery before you are captivated by the huge wave of Dalgon troops now coming from behind your army, cornering them. Some of your men had already been injured badly and were fighting for their lives at the edge of both forces.
Indeed, you talk too much.
Your army is soon overrun and overturned by the enemy troops, but you don't give up hope until your last breath. Finally, a tired soldier stabs you through the heart.
As your vision waivers from the pain, you glimpse the enemy troop's heart, at which is erected a large dragonbone structure. They gather around it, cheering, as your trusted blue flag is burnt to the ground.
A voice whispers, "Try again, brave soul" before you lose sight of your regretful perishing and all fades to black...

You got the Misled ending!
