Santharia: Quest for the Flitter-Twitch Butterfly

You stop the fruitless task of cleaning your boots in order to search out the strange sound.  The honking noise becomes louder as you push through the brush.  You arrive at a watery swamp.

And then you freeze.  You see it...through the clearing.....a strange and wonderfully unique creature....a Bogsnapper.  You stand still in hopes of not scaring it.  Your first thought goes to the Zoo Keeper, "I wonder if he would pay a good price for one of these" you ask yourself.  But realizing that all you have is a butterfly net you abandon the dream of catching this creature.  

The Bogsnapper is an amphibious swamp-dwelling beast with a long neck, long legs and a bill. The Bogsnapper lives in marshes all over Santharia.  These animals are particularly tame and not very bright.  Some races even use the dumb creature as a pack animal or even ride them. You suspect the Zookeeper already has a few specimens.  


Then just like that, the Bogsnapper bounds away.  You decide to move on.
