Save him!
You can't leave him there. Not after all you had been through together, not after he had trusted you to get him through this. You decide you have to go in, and damn the pain.
You're on a bit of an adrenaline high, so you're able to get out of the car in less than thirty seconds. You hobble around the corner and towards the alley. As you continue to move, it gets a little easier, but you can feel the wound re-opening.
You get to the door and find it propped open, just as he described. You don't hear any voices, so you slip on in, making sure the door remains propped. You're lightheaded, but you focus on staying alert-- Now is not the time to pass out.
Suddenly you're not sure why you thought this was a good idea. You can't really defend yourself, and you certainly can't run away. Still, if Alec needs help, you've got to give it to him. As you make your way down the hallway toward the control room door, you can hear voices coming from inside the room. They seem to be dealing with the aftermath of Alec's attack. You're at the door now. It's been automatically unlocked by the security system, so that security reinforcements can easily come to the aid of their compatriots inside the room, but now you use that to your benefit.
