"You know what?" you say. He looks at you, hope in his eyes, praying you're about to say what you are about to say.

"What?" he mumbles.

"This is insane," you reply. "I'm not going to let you go in there and get killed. C'mon, let's get out of here. Gun it."

He's clearly shocked. And why shouldn't he be?

"What... ? Leave now? After all this? Are you sure?"

"Of course I'm sure," you reply. "I'm sorry for jerking you around a little bit, but I just can't justify losing you."

"But you said it would be easy! I could do it..."

"I was... exaggerating. I really don't know what would await you in there. We really need to just split, so GO already!"

Sighing, he turns the car back on. "Well? Where are we going?" he asks.
